While we always encourage you to buy Welsh food and drink all year round, the St David’s Day period (around 1 March) sees a surge in availability across retailers—thanks to advertising, point-of-sale promotions, and even in-store tasters—that makes it easier to find and buy Welsh products.
This year, as the team once again supports a mixed group of marketing agencies, trade specialists, and the end client on its ‘Make it Welsh this St David’s Day’ campaign, we are reminded of some key highlights from our long-standing involvement in promoting Welsh food and drink around this important day in the calendar for Wales.
Here are a few highlights from the archive…
Promoting a two-day pop-up food market that celebrated both St David’s Day and showcased Welsh food and drink in central London.
Developing an asset banks and retailer toolkit to help retailers promote Welsh food and drink ahead of St David’s Day celebrations.
Working with leading Welsh chefs such as Bryn Williams in collaboration with leading food destinations such as Fortnum & Mason.
Along with wider influencers, such as Sabrina Ghayour, online in showcasing some great culinary treats.
